COACH JOE APONTE

Led by Coach Joe and a team of coaches with over 20 years of experience, ECA is built on elite skill development, high-level competition, and college preparation. The program focuses on helping athletes improve their game and understand what it takes to compete at the next level.

Coach Joe Aponte has coached across all levels, including youth programs, varsity boys and girls basketball, and competitive baseball and softball teams. His experience includes multiple Hudson County Championships, Complete Game Colonials, and Wladyka Baseball, with multiple tournament championships.

In addition to long-term coaching and development experience, ECA has helped multiple student-athletes earn opportunities to continue their playing careers at the collegiate level.

COACH JOSEPH FERNANDEZ

Coach Joseph Fernandez. Has over 10 years of coaching experience at both the travel and high school baseball levels, including freshman, 14U–17U travel, and varsity programs. Over the past five years, I’ve served as a program pitching coach for Union City High School, specializing in pitching mechanics, arm care, player development, mental approach, and pitching analytics.

Throughout my coaching career, I’ve helped develop multiple pitchers who have gone on to compete at the collegiate level. My coaching philosophy focuses on building confidence, mastering strong fundamentals, and helping athletes reach their full potential both on and off the field.
